Mediquip Kicks Off 2025 with Three Major Acquisitions

Mediquip is excited to announce the successful acquisition of the three companies in January 2025, with more potential mergers and acquisitions on the horizon. We proudly welcome Innovative Medical Solutions (WA), Austvet Endoscopy (VIC), and Bosco Medical Australia Pty Ltd (QLD) to the Mediquip family.

Mediquip CEO, Daniel Berndt, had this to say about the acquisitions. “These acquisitions are a major step in scaling our business to support more customers with more solutions. Our goal is to help our healthcare and veterinary partners achieve greater efficiencies, deliver better clinical outcomes, and provide outstanding after-sales support.”

“We are thrilled to welcome IMS, Austvet Endoscopy, and Bosco Medical to the Mediquip Group,”

Innovative Medical Solutions (IMS): A Perth-based supplier and service provider of medical equipment with over 20 years of experience in selling equipment, consumables, and providing service to hospitals and vet clinics. Established in 2003, IMS was founded in response to the growing demand for a cost-effective alternative for the supply and repair of surgical devices and electronic medical equipment.

Austvet Endoscopy: For over 21 years, Austvet Endoscopy has been a family owned and operated company with an exclusive focus on Veterinary Endoscopy. Proudly representing Olympus, AOHUA, Andersen, B. Braun and Dr Fritz, Austvet Endoscopy remains the only endoscopy company with significant local technical service and repair capabilities.

Bosco Medical Australia Pty Ltd: With over 41 years of experience, Bosco Medical Australia has been a trusted supplier of life sustaining products and equipment in the Australian Healthcare Industry. Serving both public and private health sectors, Bosco Medical Australia is renowned for its exceptional service and commitment to quality.

This strategic expansion reinforces our commitment to advancing healthcare and veterinary solutions nationwide, supported by a strong service division. These acquisitions enhance our product portfolio, elevate the customer experience, further strengthen our market presence and geographic footprint. Each company brings unique expertise that will strengthen Mediquip’s core pillars in biomedical service, healthcare and the veterinary sector, making them invaluable additions to our growing organisation.

What This Means:
